Imminent Domain
I am against imminent domain, and there are very few reasons, if any, I can see for any level of government to seize my property.
HOWEVER, isn’t this what the English & European settlers did when they arrived in the “New World”?? The Native Amerians lost their land to our desires. We did not understand their way of life or their sense of property rights. We just moved in and told them to move out. What goes around comes around.
I support Individual Property Rights simply because I believe it is morally, ethically wrong to take what belongs to another. Let’s stop the “stealing” now so it won’t continue for generations to come.
