“That your joy may be made full.”
As I was praying for the our missionary friends just now, a prayer for ministry affairs, I found I also needed to pray it for Richard and me, for ourselves, for our office, for our home, for a potential ministry trip. Then I was praying that God would give our friends the “fruit of their labor, & His” when I realized that He gives us that fruit and we give it back to Him… and we don’t have to limit our giving of “our” spiritual fruit to 10%, but we can give it ALL to Him joyously, knowing that we lack for nothing! Our Joy is made full! In the Bible, in the book of John 15:11-12, Jesus says, “These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you and that your joy may be made full. This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.” My heart is rejoicing!!
