“…before we ask” (Matthew 6:8b)

Sometimes I think God is working overtime! I know the Bible says that He “never slumbers nor sleeps” (Psalm 121:4), and that must certainly be true. Our oldest son Steve and daughter(-in-law) Jodi are in the process of adopting a child from Ukraine. Not too long ago, we sent out an email asking for prayer, as their process had bogged down. Within a few days, their Dossier had been accepted! Last week, we sent out another “e-prayer request”, and again within a few days, Saturday they received their letter of acceptance, registration, and invitation to travel! Next on the list is acceptance of the request Steve & Jodi are submitting concerning the date of travel. Express mail takes about 8 days each way, plus processing time between. We eagerly await another God-answer for this request. (Philippians 4:19 “And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”

You can read all about their Adoption Journey here, on Jodi’s blog.

Prayer Guy says: “The key to answered prayer is believing God will answer. ” THANK YOU! to all you pray-ers! :-)

  1. Hi Nancy! Thanks for publishing the prayer requests for us! We are so grateful! No major corrections. We submit a request for an appointment date, but they will ultimately just give us whatever date they want… or more correctly whatever date God leads them to give us! We do ask for people to pray for the right date and for our sakes that it is sooner rather than later, but ultimately it must be God’s appointed time.

    Thanks!! xoxoxo
