Standard Pie Crust - Nancy’s Mother’s recipe (Homemade with practice is better than bought anytime!!)

for a 2-crust pie: Mix together: 2 c. sifted flour 1 tsp. salt pinch baking powder Cut in till crumbly: 2/3 c. shortening Add a little at a time, only as much as is needed for working consistency: 1/4 c. cool water Roll out to desired size
